October 2023 – The Swiss new data protection law officially came into force on September 1, 2023.
The legislation, officially known as the “Swiss Data Protection Act” (SDPA), replaces the previous data protection law dating back to 1992. It brings Switzerland in line with the European Union’s General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and introduces several key provisions designed to enhance individuals’ control over their personal data and strengthen data security measures for businesses.
CROss Alliance® data protection system, already compliant with the EU GDPR since its introduction, has been further improved and is now fully aligned with the requirements of the new Swiss legislation. According to the above, CROss Alliance® and its DPO are registered with the Federal Data Protection and Information Commissioner (FDPIC).
We have committed ourselves to process personal data with the same meticulousness we put in every effort we take, coherently with CROss Alliance® values.
